Rapid Redux Back in @ Laurel Park Goes for 21
Rapid Redux will be in action again on Tuesday as this exciting horse will be going for 21 races in a row which is an amazing horse racing feat. He was very impressive three weeks ago posting and passing the likes of Zenyatta and Peppers Pride for the longest victory. This horse has found a niche where it enters cheaper claiming and starter races having the heart to just win. It is not a stakes horse and does not every plan on being one but the pure heart and great training along with riding of Coles and Wells put this horse in a class of its own. These records have been standing for quite some time until this firecracker Rapid Redux came along.
The record that he will be trying to tie for most wins in a calendar year is 19 which is currently held by the Triple Crown Winner Citation set back in 1948. On Tuesday 21st at Laurel Park Acosta will be riding Rapid Redux in a field of 6 in a mile 1/16th starter allowance.
There is horse or two like there usually is that presents a challenge for Rapid Redux and this race is no different. Deep closers seem to favor this track and With No Brakes in the mix Rapid Redux will have to continue to be on his game. He is a six year old who is 6 for 15 for the year and taking a nice drop in class.
Awesome Rythem also presents a speed challenge for going to the lead early so Rapid Redux with being versitile witll have to use this to win the race. Its pretty exciting when Wells claimed Rapid Redux for owner Robert Cole on Oct. 13, 2010 for just $6,520 and it has been paying huge dividends ever since. Here is a link to Rapid Redux previous races check them out its amazing!
