Hollywood Oaks July 23, 2012 Picks
Here are the Entries for the Hollywood Oaks that is taking place on July 23rd. It should be a very competitive Grade 2 race. This race is a 150,000 purse and will be run at a mile and sixteenth for 3 year old fillies. Edens Moon is a Baffert trained horse and looks to be in the mix. Has had an injury before so missed a few races but is really training well and the races that she did not win there were some excuses.
Willa B Awesome has a great story being purchased for only 18k and going on to win a G1 race including the Santa Anita Oaks. She might be faster on dirt some there are some concerns there. Killer Grace is going to go off at a nice price and winless in the last 3 starts but back to her preferred surface. Condition is an issue but if she shows up in good form might be an upset here. Open Waters looks promising as well if she likes the surface but that is questionable.
