Arlington Million Saturday August 13, 2011
On Saturday August 13th we will have the 29th running of the Arlington Million which will be an exciting race indeed. We have the Irish Bred Cape Blanco’s who is the morning line favorite at 9-5 who loves racing on the turf. This horse had a very impressive win on July 9th winning the Man O War stakes (G1) beating Gio Ponti so its coming off a great win which was well needed after a disappointing 6th in the (G1) Queen Annie on June 14.
Another horse that will be making his present felt for sure is Gio Ponti who is the second favorite at 2-1. Gio Ponti has 11 career wins and lifetime earnings of over 5 million. Mission Improved 6-1 comes from a great Canadian Champion of Approval so should be in the mix as well and likes to take the lead early setting the pace. Details Below:
