2014 Cheltenham Festival at Prestbury Park
We are just a few weeks away from the biggest horse racing festival in the World the 2014 Cheltenham Festival. Thousands of horse racing fans will gather at Prestbury Park March 11th through March 14th to enjoy some of the best horses battling each other. This rich tradition began back in 1902 at Prestbury Park but the first flat races were held in Cheltenham in 1815.
The jockey to watch will be Ruby Walsh when it comes to placing wagers. There might not be much money to win as the odds will probably sway his way since he as won 28 races of the festival in the last ten years! He has won the big race 7 times in the last ten years so is going to be the one to beat with being a great jockey and being able to ride the best horses in the field.
Ruby Walsh is no longer with Paul Nichols who he has had some great success with in the previous years. He decided to stay close to his home in Ireland and struck up a good partnership with Willie Mullins who has been getting him some amazing rides.
Place your wagers at Betbright today!
He should be riding the horse Vautour in the Supreme Novices Hurdle which will kick this festival off. For the big Champion Hurdle we are expecting to see him ride Hurricane Fly in search of another victory.
At this festival the party will be in force just like last year when over 18,000 Bottles of Champaign and 214,000 Pints of Guiness were consumed throughout the week. So get down to the Prestbury Park or any of the surrounding bars for a good time and great horse racing!
